What are some of the creepiest, most spine chilling, pokemon theories that you have ever heard?
One of my personal favorite creepy theories is that the reason that Ash doesn't age is because Ash and Pikachu are actually dead. let's take a look back on the original Pokemon animated series, specifically season 1 episode 22, "The Tower of Terror" in which Ash and Pikachu were rendered unconscious due to falling from a high place and being crushed by a chandelier. As the theory goes, the fall and chandelier actually killed Ash and Pikachu, which could be a possibility considering a nearby ghost in the tower pulls the duo's souls out of their physical bodies. Ash and Pikachu are, as expected, startled by the sight of their lifeless bodies lying on the floor. after this horrific realization, Ash says that he "doesn't want to be a ghost yet." After spotting Brock and Misty (RIP Rachael Lillis) outside, Ash pulls Misty up into the air, making her think that something troublesome had happened to Ash. As Misty and Brock venture into the tower to look for their friend, they are met with deeply sorrowful sight: Ash and Pikachu's lifeless bodies on the floor. Ash being the good kid he is, not wanting to worry his friends, immediately rushes to have his and Pikachu's souls return to their rightful bodies. Sounds like a happy ending, Right? well, not quiet. The fan theory suggests that Ash and Pikachu died and that their souls have possessed their corpses, Thus, Ash and Pikachu continue the rest of their journey as apparitions controlling their own bodies, never aging with the times.
