I was literally thinking i wouldn't find anything but uhh the next encounter was a surprise i guess
Definitely not the best but should i evolve it? (Btw i named him Cooper)
Meltan looks like Ditto, and it has a gear on its head, which may have fallen onto it while they where escaping from Team Rocket's Lab.
It would make sense for them to want to get far away from Team Rocket after that, so they would travel to a distant Region. In fact, why not be impossible to obtain normally and only obtainable from Pokemon HOME and stuff? Great idea!
Plus if Ditto where to be strong and not just Transform then I would likely describe it as Melmetal.
Most people don't seem to believe this but good luck changing my mind.
I have way too many Meltans and Eevees, so I'm giving some out for free :)

To all my Pokémon GO players, I've got a code for y'all.
LX6AV28A69Z3M4RB
It's for the special research that's only available today for Meltan.
Please keep in mind that I'm getting this code from the exclusive Proffessor's Research card featuring Proffessor Willow. So I'm not sure if what the limitations are.

I’m curious if Meltan in Pokémon Go got reshiny locked after the last event. And if it is will it be permanent?
