Anywho, much like tom the smoliv last episode, it seems Sukki the Flittle is just very hard to grind fo some reason.

Wait fire types can't freeze....can they?

Tera psybeam from Sukki is kinda weak...I'm just gonna farm some raids for candies, becuz I need espathra...or maybe I'll get espathra when I get to Larry.

I shouldn't be relying on evolutions to use mons. No more forced evos down their throats!

Anywho that's enough grinding, let's detox tagtree thicket!

As for the guard...

Luckily, the stockpiles didn't run out of control and Sukkis psybeam was able to beat this blob.

Phryge takes care if his past self too.

Lele, Sukki and Wenlock handle the star barrage, and for the first time in one of these my mons get close to losing, withe Lele even barely beating some foongus and Amoonguss. Thank goodness for the vending machines. Now, can we beat Atticus?

Sukkis baby doll eyes manages to get rid of 3 sucker punch PP, but she got severely wounded by a stray venoshock, so wenlock had to beat skuntank....which also had toxic. He also used sandstorm to get around the silly skunk. (We also learn semi invulnerable moves have sucker punch attack you the first turn it's used)

Earth eater counters revavroom jrs bulldoze and it only gets off a single assurance before falling.

Next is Muk. How tanky is it again?

Welp, time to engage the sand again. Wenlock I doubt is a heavy hitter. Humorously his steel typing completely walls muks sludge wave and Muk falls to 3 tera steel iron heads.

Wenlock trades iron heads with the star mobiles flame charges and accidentally sets up 2 layers of t spikes. A 3rd flame charge puts him at very low health so I heal, and set up the sand again as it hits +6. I'm forced to potion him again at the end...but Wenlock eventually trashes the car and wins me the fight.

...tell me I get lumina crash. (Yes!)

Oh and Miga rejoined the squad too. I'm too attached to him. The current squad seems relatively set in stone in my head, but I may change my mind later as we head into medali...the halfway mark.

The first gym challengers Gumshoos strong jaw activated on Sukki since it's bite put her on 1hp with a crit. Yikes! Nini defeats the greedent that came after.

Sukkis luck goes better against the 2nd trainer (ironically it's against dunsparce, the tsuchinoko pokemon that's supposed to be elusive) and 3rd trainer as well.

Anywho after getting the special dish, I swap Miga to the front to take it on. Can he sweep this?

Unfortunately he only got 2 arm thrusts off on Komala before getting yawned...so I swap in Nini who also gets yawned...so I swap into wenlock...who gets yawned too...then I swap into Sukki, as komala lives on 1 health after dodging a failed sucker punch and firing back a lumina crash...komala then yawns her...so I go into phryge...and finally end the koala with U-Turn. Phew!

Dudunsparce lives a wild charge and goes for drill run, severely harming Miga, so I swap to dig... but he goes down anyway, ending his unbeaten streak. Sukki then lumina crashes Dudunsparce for the win.

Now for a bird fight. Let's see what staraptor can do to a psychic ostrich. (Answer: apparently nothing!)

That said...is Miga available to use here?

(Apparently yes via Geeta).

Can't wait to be rid of this, it's a inconsistent multi hit move and close combat is apparently coming up, boy am I so excited for that. (Oh and nemonas lycanroc goes down)

Next her goomy confuses a switched in wenlock with water pulse but he beats it in 2 iron heads.

When pawmo comes out I swap in Miga again, who beats it with dig.

I wasn't looking here, so I didn't know quaquaval was coming, wenlock is used her becuz steels defensive MU is on another level. I then swap to Nini to tank aqua step, but he's defeated by tera aqua jet.

I make a mistake here becuz I forgot quaquavals pure water now and Sukki also pays the price for it. Why am I so scared of starter vs starter MUs again?

Miga barely tanks a aqua step and finished it off... though he also KOed himself. Phew.

Gonna train 2 new members today. With the exception of tandemaus I feel I'd be able to use them all at some point.

Anywho maybe using smoliv was a mistake because boy is it weak. Tom barely got any wins while training.

I'm curious where copper grew cyborg components now. His eyes just turn off like the future paradoxes...

Tom and Nini both hit their Evo levels at the same time. How would that work?

Answer: They take turns. Tom was in my first party slot while Nini was my third, so they evolved in that order. Interesting.

That explains rabscas psychic typing.

I was gonna use miraitowa or Someity, but settled on Petra instead, becuz one this beetles female and two I'm saving her partners named for Mabostiff, might as well use her name as well.

Anywho , enough stalling. Let's go do kofus wallet side quest.

Remember how I said Petra had a partner?

Yeah. It was either this or greavard. I chose this one because of arven.

Reason: Catalan sheepdog.

Anywho I train a bit more before reaching Porto marinada, where Tom makes short work of Kofus partner. Can he do the same to Kofu?

Ok...? Anywho now for the main event.

Tom goes for grassy terrain as Veluza plucks him. Unfortunately he gets defeated with ease. But that's alright.

I have other ways around kofus water types. Miga finished off Veluza with wild charge, Nini handles wugtrio with electro ball and Magique tussles with Crabominable at the end, easily defeating the crab with the power of grassy terrain and tera.

Now...Larry or Atticus next? Maybe Atticus. Phryge and Wenlock (Titan Orthworm) join the team, Phryge is mostly just there to remove t spikes if I need to, and since I don't have tinkaton this time, though eventually I did a full on team reshuffle to give miga and Waldi a break.

Sweet.

I think this is a good point to end. Next up is probably training huanhuan and Flittle to take on Atticus poisons.

Anywho there's a bunch of mirror matches to be found outside levincia, mostly Amik defeating other oinkolognes. (After a lot of hesitation, I release Amik to hang out with them, as I'm not sure what else I can use him for going for).

Now I have a secret weapon against mela later...but iono first!

Great, now that everyone's evolved once, maybe we can beat iono now.

Also copper joins in Amiks place,as does Lele in place of Millie.

Oh wait, I forgot about nemona battle 3!

Lele is my lead going into this.

2 rock smashes with that defense drop easily defeats rockruff.

I didn't need to do this, but I really felt I had to. Of course Miga takes out her former self.

Who let pawmot learn wild charge as soon as it evolves again?

I quickly swap my team around so there'd be a challenge (becuz I grinded a bit too much for Giacomo)

Anywho as for the 1st pokemaniac Lele is affected by intimidate, but I sausage fingered into huanhuan the Charcadet. I then swap into copper the nymble, assuming that their similar levels of 22 could allow a fair fight...but my grasshopper gets decimated by 1 charge boosted spark. Lele then tanks an unboosted one as 2 rock tombs beat luxio.

As for pokemaniac number 2...

Evidently tynamo is stronger than I think, a metal claw doesn't one shot. It needed another rock tomb assist. (Rock tomb then ends the next flaaffy in 2 turns).

Wait what?

That the same speed as ursaluna...is she thinking of trick room?!

Anywho now for the gym battle itself.

This would have been even funnier if I swapped in the wattrel I caught of Camera (who I named Nini, after another of the 2008 Beijing Olympics mascots, though that one's green). Anywho enough tangent. Let's get down to business.

Rock tomb ohkos wattrel, then I had Miga deal with bellibolt.

..that explains why Miga needed 2 digs to beat it.

I use Sukki the Flittle to eat luxios intimidate,then attempted to try and use Migas volt absorb to troll it but that failed. (1 dig finished it off). Now for the most important battle: mismagius.

I keep Miga in because I was hoping his volt absorb ability can wall a potential charge beam. He manages to smack mismagius to yellow with arm thrust before getting confused.

That has to be one of the worst ways to go out. Getting beaten by an arm thrust.

Speaking of fighting moves, I attempt to get the body press TM from orthworms area, but apparently it's locked to climbing. Why I was seeking it was because of dachsbuns high defense. Maybe I don't need it?

Anywho Miga manages to subdue phase 1.

Phase 2 I decided to try and have huanhuan have a go at taking it down.

Unfortunately when I saw that level gap I settled for will o wisp. And the only Mon on my team who could hit it and be immune to sandstorm just os happened to be Lele, who got anger shell activated by an iron tail. Lele is defeated by it but got a rock smash in.

(Insert the star wars sand joke here). Miga had to put down orthworm again...but when will I get something better than arm thrust? (Answer: CC at level 44! Miga has proven to be one of my strongest team members for now so I guess he'll eventually get there?)

I wish you were bigger....so much.

As for what I named orthworm...hmm...he's made of metal...pure steel type...

Finally got something outside of meltan to use their names on. (I picked the name of the guy on the right)

Ok now let's beat Mela. Waldi is added back to the team because I'm hoping to use well baked body to its fullest here.

This allowed the grunts houndour to roar out Waldi and force Magique in. Magique then u turns into Lele who easily handles the dog.

This time on star barrage duty are Waldi, Miga and Lele. They do the job well...but can we handle melas wrath? (Becuz let's face it, the rest of my team of floragato, under leveled charcadet and lokix will be melted to bits by her, so it's up to the 3 of them).

Yeah...clear smog caused a lot of problem for Waldi here, but t fangs and play roughs got through.

Lele gets burnt upon entry, so I'm forced to desperation tera here. Rock tomb doesn't take it out so I attempt to bait well baked body...and it succeeded. Waldi lowers the cars attack by 4 stages with baby doll eyes.

Miga has to save the day again with 3 digs and tanking 2 overheats.

Neat.

Anywho, that's all I'm gonna do today.

Next time I think I'm taking down Kofu...with someone that's not Magique (Floragato) or Miga (Pawmot).

I decided to add phryge to the team...becuz I feel Shuss' terrible HP may cost me. Grafaiai may be on the lower end of Paldean mons for me but I feel using it is better than wugtrio getting deleted in 1 hit.

I just realized great tusk is the only paradox I can use because of the titan and "my goal is to beat ai Sada"

Anywho I think I wish SV had Skippable cutscenes, I'm sparing you guys by not screenshotting everything.

I just realized geetas appearance could foreshadow her using glimmora: her gloves is glimmora petals and her hair is the spikes.

Also from now on I'll probably try to be more selective with my captures since I already have 8 to rotate between (or more like 7 becuz sprigs a fixture), I don't think I need that many.

Thats a big Mon...

Maybe that should have been a red light about how she can send a contact remotely... without using a rotom phone...

Anywho, klawf? I think it could be easy? Shuss terrible stats shouldn't let me down against something with type disadvantage right? Right?

I'm gonna give myself an extra challenge: no using koraidon to do stupid stunts like jump down from high places.

In the wilds I catch a Nacli...who has Sturdy instead of purifying salt.

I realized I brain farted here by choosing a living snowball from Korea as opposed to the special stone from china that is right there...oh well

Of course Magique evolved before everyone else...of course. And Titan klawf manages to put up a good fight against him in the first phase, Magique only barely triumphs without tera (I used on pawmi earlier to take out an annoying opponent) via leafage spam, and klawfs ability also activated.

On phase 2 I use Schuss instead, and recharged my tera orb beforehand. Unfortunately tera aqua jet fails to defeat klawf and a rock tomb flattens shuss, and Magique is forced to have rematch with klawf, and thanks to arvens shellders support, has a much better time taking on the giant crab.

(Game screenshots ceased here because my phone camera temporarily couldn't work, so take my word for everything that happened next).

Afterwards, kinda like an anipoke episode, klawf joins the team. I name her that Chinese stone mascot I didn't use on nacli earlier, replacing Shuss. On the way to cortondo, a quick raid with phryge gets enough rate candies to evolve Miga into pawmo,

Miga helps take down the gym trainers in the smoliv maze with his newfound strength (though Lele had to help him with...kricketune of all mons

Jeez). Soon after, thanks to me messing around with his 1000 steps mechanic as soon as he evolved, he evolves into pawmot after defeating an igglybuff, marking the fastest Mon to fully evolved on any playthrough session I've ever done.

Admittedly, I was shocked to learn he doesn't get double shock until level 60...yikes. That said he got wild charge. In the beginning of the game...I click tera and press A to win. Becuz of their low HP if the first 2 , he's able to do that.

Stony takes on Giacomo, his coarse language pissing off the former titan

Polly and Stony were shocked when they had to fight the car.

Then the car snarled at Stony. It activated her ability but she couldn't do much to it as it made her extremely weak. She had to retire-while spring and doh helped her withe star barrage she was feeling too weak to take on the car.

Luckily doh was able to prove her worth by helping take down the car.

There was something about penny that nagged at Polly. She couldnt put a finger on it.

Polly received a tip about a trade request looking for pinurchin. She caught magneto here instead while searching for the sea urchin.

Eventually, she found one and eventually caught it.

Turns out that trade was pretty useful. Polly had heard of Gengar and it's immense popularity as a ghost type. Hauntikins seemed to warm up to her fast, probably due to her loneliness.

Polly could also tell hauntikins didn't seem to have a good life as her moves all reeked of something negative when she tried to use the Gengar against nemona.(fun fact: oinkers blushed when he heard nemona praise Polly)

Polly doesn't remember he exists. And she has watched a lot of iono videos...

Polly didn't remember a iono stream scheduled at this hour. Then again she didn't on notifications so... (Also how did clavell know about her?)

Hauntikins curse really helped take out Bellibolt and mismagius with levitate, Polly was glad the latter fell to curse-she heard many rumors about how impossible it is.. It even helped bouncy get her first victory.

Polly evolved doh into Dachsbun as she wants to take mela on soon and well baked body would be helpful.

Outside the mines, Polly caught a rolycoly (name rolyc) and found a fure stone (which caps popped out of the boxes to eat).

Hauntikins defeated Orthworm with curse for the first phase (it also took out spring and surprisingly, bouncy) but was defeated.

Stony had to titan vs titan Orthworm twice, and for the sake of mabosstiff prevailed. Polly later wanted to catch an Orthworm becuz Arven said it looked cute.

Also koraidon and mabostiff seemed to be getting along. Cool.

(Also I admit resetting the game and not having koraidons movement options is jarring and feels great to regain them.)

Bouncy redeems herself by taking out the guard outside melas base, and Polly mistook charlos for her cinders.

Surprisingly, Stony had to be the one that destroyed mela (as Torkoal had drought). She got burned by blazing torque near the end-and Mela praised bouncy instead-much to the Azumarill surprise and klawfs displeasure.

Again, penny somehow felt untrustworthy...

Polly made it to cortondo after a long while, opting here due to her team layout. Furthermore, dusty evolved into vivillon at last while training, much to him and Polly's relief as spewpa being so passive did them little favors.

Polly also caught a Mareep named Mary on the way. She may come in handy later.

Due to wiggles not being suited for battle, Polly sent the wiglett to the box and brought doh out.

The female fidough is naive but proud of her power.

Dusty has a lot to say about the olive, saying it looks delicious and whatnot. Well I guess I know what to feed him.

Dusty seeing other vivillon makes him feel like he wants to reunite with them at some point.

Polly became aware of this and had mixed feelings. Said feelings also ultimately led to dusty losing to a gym trainer.

However, dusty seemed happy to stick with Polly a while longer. The burning spirit in his eyes could not be suppressed. During the gym battle, dusty listened to Polly and they even managed to overpower teddirursas fury swipes with struggle bug.

Bouncy evolved due to the inspiration she got, becoming stronger and gaining more firepower.

This gave Polly the idea to challenge the Stony cliff titan.

On the way, dusty and Polly fell into a tera raid den, and barely escaped after dusty defeated the tera poison chewtle and Polly caught it.

A jealous spring later evolved after eating the exp candies dusty earned. Hes now convinced Polly will use him now that's he's stronger... destroying almost all opponents he came across until losing to a murkrow. At least he made his point clear. A makuhita also didn't join as a result.

She wound up losing to a wild klawf.

Spring isn't happy about that and asked Polly to search some more for the titan so he could beat.

Plus artazaon is nearby.

Spring seemed unimpressed that there's a giant klawf where the map says the titan is.

He didn't feel like it would give him a worthy fight.

He let his guard down and let klawf get the better of him in both phases,only barely surviving. Even after he allowed himself to terastailise. He was really humbled by a crab and sure is glad he has teammates who can back him up.

In a funny sequence of events, Polly even taught fidough baby doll eyes by "using" it on Arven.

Polly even caught titan klawf later, naming it Stony and replacing webbers with her. She seems to want to know more about the world beyond the Stony cliffs. She would also be a good sparring partner for spring.
