Apparently in a 1997 pamphlet describing Gold and Silver mentions that Ethan has a brother three years his senior. However, this aspect of his character was discarded by the time of the final release. So I decided to make this concept into a OC.

Welcome to Pokemon ramble, where i talk about something quite simple and easy to understand and i tell you nothing more, just making it kinda complicated.

This time, i will talk about Chansey’s evolution line and the generations of release.

So most pokemon got pre-evolutions in Generation 2, but Chansey got an evolution. Now gaining evolutions was not only for Chansey, because other pokemon got evolutions. But those pokemon didnt get pre-evolutions in later gens.

In Generation 4, lots of pokemon gained evolutions, but Chansey got a pre-evolution, some other pokemon gained pre-evolutions but those Pokémon didn’t have evolutions given to them.

So now you might see what i mean by evolving backwards: Happiny and Blissey swapped Generations, if you look at it with this logic

Just thought it was something to tell you.

Gen 1: Exeggcutor; its alolan counterpart gets all the fame

Gen 2: Skarmory/Delibird; dont lie, you thought these were both from hoenn

Gen 3: Nincada; idk what to say abt it

Gen 4: Stunky; you didnt know it existed, did you?

Gen 5: Alomoloma; its not a luvdisc evo, everyone turned away from it

Gen 6: Furfrou; all of its unique styles were just forgotten

Gen 7: Comfey; i had to strain my mind to remember this existed

Gen 8: Cursola; no-one talks about it enough, its so cool!

Gen 9: Veluza/Squawkabilly; these were just unnecessary - gamefreak desperately needed to get the dex number as high as possible to surpass 1000

Well, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen in 2024, because the Pokemon Presents didn't even mention a Johto remake once.

I have a slither of hope that one happens soon (maybe at some other point of the 2020s for like the Switch 2), and it probably should.

Johto has also gone the longest without a remake. HGSS came out way back in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. All Unova games that have ever been released were also for the Nintendo DS. I've played games that take place in every Pokemon region in the main series. So, if they were to make Johto and Unova remakes soon, the developers could give today's kids a chance to play Pokemon games that take place in every single region as well.

I also remember when Johto has also gone the longest without a remake before HGSS came out, so, you never know.

Just finished an illustration of Celebi hovering around Gerbera, one little light lime fairy who hovers around a lot of nature. 🧚🏻🌷🌼🎨 (used with Ohuhu markers)

...except when I tried to work with all 1008 of them the past few times it proved too tough. So I decided to split them up by region.

Sure hope the presents doesn't invalidate this.
