A bit of a shorter episode because I essentially entrainment'd slow start the past 2 days.

I think this would more or less be my final team? I may use honchkrow or ursaring in place of hbox, but overall I think it's set in stone. Anywho, Squeaks hbox and Banzai defeated the star barrage, but Banzai having to fight sandiles did nearly mean she nearly got koed.

I ended up burning hboxs tera against pawniard due to the steel weakness (I was also admitted scared of atticus later until I remembered I had a donphan). Hboxs Competitive activates against intimidate from the car but the damage accumulated was too much and she was defeated. Banzai was defeated after landing a few hammer arms lowered her speed a lot (hence im getting zoom lens later), and phanphan got sleeped by wicked torque, so amphy had to deliver the finishing blow.

Oh, and I briefly swapped in a slowpoke in place if Squeaks but decided not to because a. Slownbro is a bit of a long wait 2. Psychic isn't very good type 3. Squeaks has Thick Fat 4. Oblivious blocking intimidate isn't as impressive when hbox can use that to gain +2 special attack 5.I already said earlier the team was relatively set in stone and I can't go back on that. Anywho, side tangent aside let's get back to th action...

I wonder why no t bolt yet...(Amphy deleted quaxwell while phanphan took care of the first 2). Phanphan also worked with Banzai to beat the gym challengers for iono.

As for iono herself, well I led with Banzai and taught her foul play (ended up scrapping flail because I was that scared of bellibolts sheer bulk that I needed stone miss to cut through it...and didn't get wide lens before starting...oops)

Well that didn't work but 2 more rock tombs finished the job. (Wattrel was defeated by rock tomb).

I used hbox to counter intimidate, but 2 full paras meant she had to go. I heal Banzai who came back in, and got para haxd too, but Banzai at least got rock tombs off.

I had Gyro leech seed stall mismagius, but because I burned my tera on Banzai it was tougher to do so, but Gyro hung on long enough to win. I think I'll stop here, orthworms the next target for me.

Decided to go after klawf first, and did take it down (though it was more arvens shellder clutched after squeaks went down). Also I'm phasing out that list of mons I own, it's too clunky in hindsight.

New additions I Acquired around the arra include the tera water jigglypuff, hbox (for obvious reasons) and Meddy (the name of a nurse based netnavi from the mega man battle network series) the happiny, who I Don't think I'll really use. (After some digging oval stone is only available midway through the adventure...just as bad as Optic the sunkern, who can only evolve at artazon).

I think a thing I Don't like about these runs in scarlet is having to re earn all the Koraidon skills because I started a new save, my muscle memory is too adjusted to a fully regained skills build...oh well.

This part was funny: Banzai defeated a level 25 vespiquen and gained enough experience to learn mimic and then evolve, and level up everyone too.(Squeaks evolving was just me using her so often to boost friendship). Evolving into sudowoodo gave Banzai a huge power boost, especially because Stone Miss, wood hammer and Hammer Arm are now available to use.

Amphy the newly caught mareep was there because I'd rather try using ampharos than sunflora, and he evolved into flaaffy a while later while Squeaks fully evolved into azumarill, and Gyro only evolved into skiploom long after all that.

This feels wrong admittedly...(I used stone miss for the nymble, then swapped to tera boosted rock throw for tarantula, before attempting tera stone miss again on teddiursa, taking 2 attempts to even land the ko blow because...its stone miss).

Afterwards, artazon was next, which I found problematic as my team didn't have an answer to grass types (Woophee is weak to them despite having poison tail and t spikes, squeaks has bounce but is weak to grass types, both mist tera to avoid this)...then again this isn't smogon or vgc so maybe bounce being telegraphed isn't that bad of a problem in PvE....

Tera Poison allows whoopee to eat Mega Drains and set up 1 layer of t spikes. Petilil was barely overcome but trying to get another set up in smolivs face failed. Hbox then takes over and defeats smoliv with help from the t spikes, but she's defeated by sudowoodo, but squeaks brings the match home with bounce.

Perjaps gen 2 mons aren't that weak after all? Lets see if i can take down Bombirdier.

...that was easy. (Mostly because Stone Miss didn't miss). I'm planning to get rid of that later though...thinking either wide lens (so I just don't have to miss) or zoom lens (to take advantage of sudowoodos low speed), that muscle band is proving useful ATM though. (Also on the way there I replaced wooper with phanphan the phanpy to mix up my team a little, hbox or squeaks be replaced soon too).

I don't know how, but I feel embarrassed I've never used a mabosstiff yet after seeing this again. This is a johto (and related) mons only playthrough so I guess gotta wait until next time.

Here looks like a good stopping point, next time I'll start starfall street and deal with the nightmare that is ionos gym battle.
