Alright so here's why each Pokemon would be on Goku's team:
Rayquaza-Looks like Shenron.
Lucario: A fighting type and can use aura blasts, which are similar to ki blasts.
Infernape: Based on the same thing as Goku
Blastoise: Goku learned martial arts at the Turtle School
Machamp: It's a fighter.
Sawk: A martial artist.
Should I make Pokemon Teams for other Anime Characters?
Simisear and Infernape both being primate based Pokémon I wanted to compare them to see who is the better ape.
STATS and Abilities
The range and balance of their stats are similar. but the overall BST goes to Infernape having a BST of 534 Where as Simisear got a Base stat total of 498. Though they both share the ability blaze Simisear has the Normal ability of Gluttony Where as Infernape has the ability of iron fist. Gluttony is more situational move of eating the berries early. This ability could be good an against Pokémon with low attack/special attack stats but if they do the ability is redundant. Iron fist being more reliable of an ability increasing the damage of punching moves Infernape gets this win. Though I do want to say that Simisear is at a faster egg group than Infernape.
Accessibly
Simisear pre-evolved form pansear can be given as a gift before you can even get your second gym badge. And even if you didn’t get the right starter it is still not the end of it. You can still find it in lostlorn and pinwheel Forrest. Though with the 10 % chance and located only in rustling grass it might take you a bit. Infernape needs to be traded from the sinnoh games before. But they both share one thing. If their male (which there is a 7/8 chance) if you want more it going to be a pickle. Though less for Simisear because you can still get more. So for accessibility I’ll have to go for Simisear.
The Gyms
Because there both Fire types it’s up to Infernape Fighting typing. Being a Fighting type helps it as much as it can hurt it with all of its strengths and weaknesses of the table. Though due to the fighting type only have 2 weakneses and having 5 stengths Infernape takes the win.
Moves
Simisear’s Moveset is a far cry from good only having four moves each all only being able to be given by the move deleter because your Simisear is definitely not level one. But the coverage on the Pokémon is fantastic having 11 types for coverage all except Psychic being attacking moves. Though this glory will all be token by Infernape having only one more type on its belt being the bug type move U-turn. It even had the exact same coverage types besides that Along with it’s better level Infernape wins another match.
Conclution
Though Simisear lost it isn’t to bad for a playthough it can definitely give you some uses having Four gyms to it’s belt and only having trouble with mainly one. Some advice for Simisear lovers out there if you want to use him in a play-through for the first time (This advice can be said for a lot of Pokémon but especially Simisear) . Do not evolve him too early.
Turtwig (Bug), Pokedex: They search for materials to build their homes. When threatened they used their Antenne to hit their opponents.
Grotle(Bug), Pokedex: Using the rock like discs on their body, they block off entrances to their homes. They have an obsession with gold
Torterra(Bug/Rock), Pokedex: They provide shelter for their young in the little nest on their backs. Rumor has it that deep inside its body lays tons of gold.
Chimchar(Psychic) Pokedex:They go through strict trading in everyday to hone their physical and mental strength. The fire on their rear end is powered by their determination.
Monferno(Psychic/Fighting) Pokedex:They often won’t bother training and much prefer playing around and fighting wild Pokémon. It’s tail is it’s weak point, as grabbing it stuns it.
Infernape(Psychic/Fighting) Pokedex:Vigorous training has heightened its senses, it can see your attack seconds before you even get to move. They are competitive and love to battle
Piplup(Poison) Pokedex: Global Warming has caused these piplup to catch a rare disease. Despite this they still act prideful, even with snot dripping from its nose.
Primplup(Poison) Pokedex:The disease has caused it to become pale and malnourished. Some trainers view this as beautiful, making them highly sought after.
Empoleon(Poison/Ghost) They attempt to drain the blood of Pokémon to restore its body. The tips of its wings are highly toxic, even the slightest scratch can lead you to your end. (I kinda just gave up with this one)
