Note: Takes place a month after a Day in The Life of Shadow. Please do not say “This is Cliche” or something like that. It’s a Love story so of course it’s Cliche. Anyways, Enjoy!

Thunder watched Pearl practice her Hydro Pump, but the Jolteon kept spacing out, completely lost in thought.
“Did you see that???” Pearl Asked Thunder as she turned around. She shot the dummy in the head and blew off his head.
“Huh?” Thunder said as he snapped out of his Trance, “Sorry, I was spacing out.”
“Hmm, are you ok? You’ve been weird, well, Weirder lately..” Pearl told him as she walked over to her best friend.
Thunder was silent but when he was going to say something, Shimmer walked over to them.
“So dumb, It’s pointless.” Shimmer mumbled.
“What’s wrong?” Thunder asked Shimmer as he walked over to her.
“Shadow and Lavender are on a picnic and when I said, ‘Hang on, let me grab my stuff’ they tell me, ‘No, Shimmer, you’re not coming.’ It’s not fair!!!!!!!” Shimmer whined.
“Sorry about that but they’re..” Thunder trailed off, wondering if he could break Shimmer’s heart.
“They’re dating.” Pearl butted in.
“WHAT?!!? NO! That dumb Espeon needs to stay away from my future Husband!!!!” Shimmer screamed.
Future Husband. Why did that hurt Thunder so much? The words cut deeper than a knife... but why?
She was just saying that she would marry Shadow when she won’t... it’s because she’s in love Shadow, not Thunder.
“Well, maybe you don’t marry him? I mean- Lavender and Shadow are pretty happy together.” Thunder replied with a strained smile.
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.” Shimmer huffed, “Now if you excuse me, I’m going to prepare for Valentines.”
Crap. Valentines Day. Pearl was going with some Prinlup, Icicle and Blitz together (Duh), Via was with some Eevee named Jasper (Renamed Logan to Jasper) and Shadow with Lavender.
Who would go with Thunder? Shimmer maybe....
“What was that?” Pearl asked The Jolteon.
“What?”
“You and Shimmer! You acted so weird and-”
Pearl then let out a massive gasp as she realized.
“You Like Shimmer!!!!!!!” She yelled.
“Shut Up!!” Thunder yelled as he put his paw over Pearl’s face. Pearl pushed his paw off.
“Ask her to be your Valentine!” Pearl told Thunder.
“I dunno...” Thunder replied.
“I’ll help!! I know just the Pokémon!” Pearl cheered.
“Ok, ok, fine,” Thunder said.
