Grotle

The Paldean counterpart of Porygon, also commonly named “Forestgon”, are a common Pokemon mostly found in forests, despite this, they are not true Porygon subspecies, but more closely related to Turtwigs and some other Grass/Ground type Pokemon.

Forestgon: The first evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. They have three known moves, being Tackle, Grass Knot, and Razor Leaf.

Forestgon2: The second evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. It has grown from an old and now-useless wind-up toy ship, that is also seen in Garbodor’s Gigantamax form, And it also has 3 new moves, Mud Slap, Coil, and Heavy Slam.

Poryterra, the final evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. It has 5 new moves, such as Bullet Punch, Haze, Smack Down, Body Slam, and Confuse Ray.

Trivia

• Some old toys can be found Poryterra’s tree, such as a old toy plane, and an old toy car.

• The next two stages are slightly powerful than others Grass types.

• Poryterra has a Gigantamax form. (I’ll show it sometime of this weekend)

Before the 2nd gym

Battle with mars:

I started out using Withdraw because of the purugly and her Zubat immediately super sonic- i hurt myself in confusion and she used U-Turn and switched into Purugly :I

I tried to use withdraw again but got hit again by fakeout and then hurt myself AGAIN in confusion

I used a potion because i was low and she sent out her Zubat….

It used Supersonic and i avoided it… i was so happy omg

It used supersonic again and i avoided it- again xd

she used supersonic AGAIN and this time i didnt avoid it TvT i hit it with a tackle and brought it down to red HP and she used U-turn

I hit myself in confusion

She came out and used Fake-Out :I AND started spamming growl TNT

SHE HAS A BERRY NOOOOOO oops lol

I used a bunch of Growths to keep my attack up while shehits a Crit Scratch

I used tackle She lives at 1HP and uses scratch which brought me down to 16HP

I use Tackle and FINALLY take it out while at 13hp

She still has her Zubat T^T

It used U-Turn and that really scared me but it only did 3HP so i was safe to finish her off with a Tackle

Omg my heart is like- burned rn

And she called me a brat :<

• I forgot to heal and uh kinda ran into a trainer battle and he had a Ponyta

Im scared to move rn….

It used Ember and i died

Im going back to where i last saved cuz thats how i am:>

I think it was before i fought Mars…

(five mins later) nah i forgot i had autosave on XD it saved right after i exited the Valley Windworks

• I accidentally ran into the guy with the Ponyta again…

I spammed growth while he spammed growl… (this went on for about 4 turns till i decided to use tackle) i use tackle twice and take it out but he hit me with big damage with ember

• Turtwig learned curse in trade for Growth- ima get rid of Withdraw for Stealth Rocks

• I made into Eterna Forest with no casualties

• A’Tuin evolved

• made it out of Eterna Forest with no casualties

Cloudy Boi (LVL 25 Male Swablu)

Nature: Hardy (haha pain)

Ability: Natural Cure (Actually really nice)

-> Tailwind (has saved me quite a bit)

-> Round (good for after using Dragon Breath and getting paralysis)

-> Dragon Breath (seems to cause paralysis 50-70% of the time)

-> Safeguard (might change at some point when I get a better move

Nebula (LVL 26 Male Togepi)

Nature: Impish (why. Just why. this hurts)

Ability: Serene Grace (at least this is good)

-> Psycho Shift (Never used it, probabaly never will)

-> Ancient Power (nice but could be better)

-> Yawn (has also saved me so much)

-> Metronome (luck was bad at first, then it was good, then bad again)

A'Tuin (LVL 26 Male Grotle)

Nature: Mild (...tolerable. It works ig)

Ability: Overgrow (of course)

-> Bite (FLINCH! LES' GOOOO-)

-> Curse (only used if I'm comfortable with the speed drop)

-> Razor Leaf (pretty good)

-> Growth (perfection)
