Well, this is it.
If pokemon were smart, they'd release this as a pseudo guidebook to paradoxes IRL for older fans to deal with.
Coals mirror match goes relatively well, with Mabostiff able to get 2 attack drops to boot (intimidate+play rough luck)
Coals fine now. Have you seen them fight? Sure they're not on even terms with me yet but still.
This was just me testing if the roaring moon cave was available. It is.
I didn't expect to get to here that fast by fighting e everything.
"how's regulation H? It's going well, thank you."
In all honesty, I'm not sure if coal has to go home after I beat ai Sada. I hope they get to stay.
Lord of OU, Lord of VGC (on break), and completely useless.
Foreshadowing how flutter mane would cause problems for vgc and Smogon alike?
Coal and nemonas lycanroc were both physical attackers so it took a while to beat the great tusk back.
Amoonguss this is not.
I headcanon I sent some of my earlier party members (like Millie the Spidops or Vinicius the Annihilape) to help them.
Strong looking one indeed. (Ok I'll stop joking about how OP flutter mane is, and it went down medium hard-brute bonnet got ohkoed while great tusk proved problematic)
Now, time for the final battle.
But coal has a new trick up their sleeve.
Yep. It's proto boost time.
Slither wing tanks ice spinner and goes for lunge, but falls to a tera eq.
Scream tail falls to tera eq and ice spinner doesn't one shot brute bonnet as coal is felled by a giga drain.
Nini misses a hurricane and gets KOed by sucker punch, but magiques u turn finally gets rid of the mushroom.
I pivot into wenlock in sandy shocks, whose power gems can't break the steel types defenses.
Magique slices flutter mane into shreds and I decided to have Miga take on roaring moon. 1 close combat was all it took. Whoa.
I guess that's the end of the playthrough, of course I'd win with items on and no restrictions, but I've never used some of the mons on throughout this series before. I think great tusk may have overthrown scream tail as my favorite paradox now, and pawmot has been a MVP.
(Also fun fact I used a dire hit in am attempt to try and get past the other koraidons high defense but it failed...not even a crit at the wrong moment. Well then)
https://pokemon.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003877853
Welp, we've arrived at the endgame. Can we make it to the end? Let's find out!
Unfortunately I don't think I can drop a Draco on the e4 or area zero. I'm not too keen on changing my team so late now.
I decide to lead wenlock into Rikas ground team. Hopefully earth eater and wenlocks high defense can come in clutch, even without body press.
Anyone who clicks no is likely not a Pokemon fan...or they're a troll.
Wenlocks defensive typing should be handy here....and his first opponent just happened to be whiscash. It misses a blizzard, them freeze haxes wenlock with another, prompting a full restore from me.
Earth eater saves wenlock from earth power and 4 eqs beat whiscash.
I swap to coal on camerupt as wenlock felt way too passive, and they easily ohko an oncoming camerupt.
Coal then smashes through their descendent with 2 ice spinner, and a dugtrio suffers the same fate (with only 1).
I hope this is enough to defeat clod, even if it pains me to see it. Clod blocks it with protect, then eats one before getting toxic off. It protects a CC Coal pulled out of desperation, but the next one finishes it off.
After coals stellar performance, I decided to lead them into Poppy.
Becuz copperajah is so tanky, I tera ground to ko it.
Coal falls to body press corviknight because I ran out of CCs and attempted to disrespect KO with rapid spin because ice spinner won't do anything. Migas quick attacks finish it off though.
Admittedly because I really wanted I click double shock on bronzong, who beats Miga with zen headbutt, but Magique finished the bell off. He also barely manages to beat down magnezone.
I decide to let Sukki tackles tinkaton, and click shadow ball right away, as I don't want any hammer...and get a special defense drop as Sukki gets turned into ostrich pie.
I decide to set up Nini with lumina crash..and I learn it has stone miss.
It lived a discharge and landed a stone miss that Nini barely survives, and uses volt switch to beat tinkaton.
Larry's a flying guy, so there's one thing I really wanted to do.
Uhh....pretend none of those happened? (Let's see where I get punted too...oh before Poppy.)
This time I lead with Miga, who's CC smokes copperajah in 1 hit.
Coal learns that bronzong has levitate, so I swap them out...into Miga for some reason. Then I swap into wenlock, who can deal with levitaters.
Wenlock then exchanges eqs with bronzong and comes out on top. He then applies the same strategy on corviknight but ran out of eqs to do so before falling. Coal then uses it to trade eqs with corviknights brave bird as the latter takes itself out.
Coal barely lives magnezones special moves and finishes it off with rapid spin and eq. Since they and Miga are so weakened, I decided to try and use Sukki against tinkaton again.
Instead of shadow ball, I decided to set up Sukki with hyper voice throat spray...but she barely tickled tinkaton and gets defeated again. Nini then beats tinkaton in the same way as before the crash.
It was at this moment I decided to check what ai sadas levels were, oh my goodness, that's high. Area zero hopefully should give my team enough exp to get close to matching it.
Anywho, now to actually fight Larry. Miga has regained double shock. Which is kinda my whole strategy for taking out as many mons as possible.
Seriously, I'm pretty sure tropius is supposed to be neutral, and this put in quick attack range. I accidentally mash quick attack on a fresh staraptor who intimidated Miga, but a double shock does beat it. Miga is then defeated by altaria becuz double shock+cc wasn't enough.
Coal manages to use ice spinner to beat altaria and heavily chip oricorio, the latter of which beat them due to speed advantage.
Sukki manages to get a lumina crash off in flamigo before going down, allowing Nini to prove he's the superior bird.
For hassel I let Sukki lead, since I'm relying on her, coal and Magique to hit dragons. I set her up with hyper voice on his noiverm and...wait I forgot I deleted d gleam from her. Oops!
Magiques play rough has to be a substitute, and then I swap into coal to tackle dragalge with EQ. Coal then decinates flapple with ice spinner and 2 hits haxorus.
Coal obviously gets dropped by icicle crash, so I go into wenlock, assuming that since Bax is physical, he should be able to tank a bunch of stuff. He survives 2 brick breaks to land 2 tera iron heads. Magiques play rough than defeats bax, pulling a hat trick in a very literal way.
Hassel gave me such problems back there. Can my mismatched team even beat Geeta?
Magique easily slices through espathra, then I send sukki in next to set up hyper voice on Gogoat, and she finally defeats something here with 2 lumina crashes.
I'll let you guess what's the outcome.
Nini gets turned into a birdcicle after trading a discharge with Veluzas ice fang, so Miga has to finish it off with quick attack. Miga then CCs avalugg along with coal to beat it, mostly because avaluggs defense stat...
Yeah 1 CC isn't enough.
Coal must have had some mishap with glimmora in area zero before they escaped, as this one was taken out with a powerful eq...with extreme prejudice.
Now for the final nemona battle, and a test to see if my team can actually go into area zero.
Magique easily shreds lycanroc with flower trick, but they're apparently on even levels..
Yikes.
Coals lucky pawmot used CC to lower it's defenses, to ko with eq. They later tried to ice spinner goodra but get defeated in the process. Wenlock manages to avenge them with iron head.
Miga doesn't live this and quick attack is starting to fail to do much of substance as he gets defeated.. Ninis volt switch had to do the finishing blow. Sukki then barely manages to defeat Dudunsparce.
Nini gets a quick claw off against quaquaval.
Discharge had to 2 hit ko it, but Nini till beat it with 2 quick claw discharges still. Back to back! That was close too!
One last super sandwich for the road. I hope coal doesn't have any bad memories of area zero, like why else would they break out of there.
I feel more scrappy or guts.
Well nemonas lycanroc outsped coal before they could even shake the ground.
Now that you think about it, scream tail is the least threatening paradox. Period.
(Anywho wenlock wrecked it with Penny's help)
Due to low switch power, I think I'm gonna have to forfeit the perfect 10 and try and beat it at 11 eps instead. I do have ideas for the next playthrough though...
Episode 8:
https://pokemon.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003877323
I think Magique is glitched, I was scrolling through his nature and the stats boosted are broken.
After that
Maybe he's no longer quiet after evolving?
Anywho now for the Harrington battle. Wenlock is admittedly my weakest link now but he's the only one of my mons who can deal se damage to fairies. (Or at least handle their attacks without tera, because Coal and Miga can shed their fairy weakness via it(
Mogrem goes down in 2 eqs from wenlock while Nini tackles hattrem. For once, Lele the Klawf isn't here to help, but my current lineup I'm pretty happy with. Wenlock, Sukki and Nini manage to get through the star barrage, but can they overcome Ortega? (Reason: I'm not sure how coal and Migas tera reliance will be of use here).
I first try to override the rain with sandstorm but it got blocked. Nini then comes out to electrocute it but huge power proved too much for him, so Magique had to help finish it off.
Miga barely manages to deal a lot of damage to tuff here before procing cute charm, so I had Sukki finish the balloon rabbit, and also tackles the fairy dog. She then weakens the car with baby doll eyes before falling to it.
I then use Miga to slam the thing with tera wild charges before he falls, so I send wenlock back in. He fails sandstorm but his high defense allows him to tank magical torques and defeat the car.
Great job wenlock! (Fun fact I'm currently suffering from 4 movselot syndrome for him right now, because I need body press but smack down, iron head, sandstorm and eq all seem like stuff I need on him for various reasons).
I wonder if any of my mons can learn this. (Mainly Nini because he's the only special attacker other than Sukki, who already knows this move).
3 types for se doesn't hurt.
After a quick break, we head to thwart Eris base.
The guard was easy for Nini to easily defeats with electro balls.
Miga is my Mon of choice here for a battle of fists, and toxicroak is easily defeated by a single dig while 2 wild charges overcome passimia
Against annihilape I had Sukki take the lead but she fell to a rage fist, so I had Nini attempt to take it out. Coal defeats Lucario via exploiting it's steel typing.
I send Nini back out against the car and assault it with uproars (becuz special attacks can bypass stamina). I then volt switch into Magique because crits also ignore stamina...but he's shredded by 1 combat torque.
Unfortunately I let it get set up and get wiped. I need a new plan of attack...
Oh wait my tera orbs back (apparently I expended it and forgot to recharge after Ortega).
Sukki is my lead this time, and she trades toxicroaks sucker punch with lumina crash and barely comes out on top. Coal takes out Lucario (they tanked aura spheres on both encounters hilariously enough).
Passimian defeated Sukki here after tanking lumina crash, but a tera Magique finishes it off as well as annihilape. Magiques crits allow me to gain a slight HP advantage against the car but he still falls to it.
I end up sacking Miga and Wenlock to the car while using ninis volt switch to slowly chip it, which proved enough to beat the car at last.
Coals been stuck with brick break as his fighting stab...it couldn't come any sooner.
Anywho because I need to pass the time, I decide to tackle grusha first.
Wenlock basically swept through it. I tera steel on cetitan becuz,well...
Cetitans HP stat.
Wenlocks attack stat.
Should use this one on someone, ice is a pretty good offensive typing...
Anywho afterwards I kit out my team with held items before going to fight clavell.
(Why did I delete brick break?) Anywho wenlock finally gets the sand set up...only for him to play musical chairs with coal to avoid getting affected by yawn. Anywho, wenlocks sand manages to get oranguru enough to...I was gonna use Magique but he go yawned on switch in so I had to swap to Miga to finally beat oranguru.
In come Gyarados so I swap to Nini, dodging an EQ.
Discharge ends one of the mightiest the gen 1 mons to ever exist, and I send wenlock in on abomasnow to cancel out snow warning with sandstorm, and abomasnow falls to iron head.
Sukki and polteageist trade shadow balls, but wenlocks sand ends up fainting her despite her attempts to live on one HP.
Wenlock barely survived a shadow ball to finish off polteageist.
Nini gets spored by Amoonguss but an awakening wakes him up...but effect spore activates again. (Also this is where I learn Amoonguss has hex. Not like it's even good at using it.)
Becuz skeledirge can roast my entire team alive, I'm relying on Coal to take care of it.
Coals EQ is barely handled as skeledirge gets a torch song off and roasts coal into ashes.
Well, at least it's not a ghost type anymore, so Magique...gets roasted by torch song. Miga has to finish off the croc with quick attack.
I got healed before fighting penny, but can I overcome her eeveelution army?
I set up the sand on Umbreon with wenlock and coals clear amulet blocks a baby doll eyes as a close combat deletes it before close combat fails to defeat Umbreon and they're washed away by hydro miss.
Wenlock tanks a few baby doll eyes as well as a hydro pump before managing to beat Vaporeon. Due to his low HP I swap Sukki onto Flareon.
Via hyper voice, Sukki uses her throat spray on Flareon, a lumina crash+barely surviving a flare blitz helped her out a bit.
Nini tackles leafeon, initially with acrobatics, the with uproar. Miga then beats Jolteon barely with dig and quick attack.
Since everyone's not really in good shape, I entrusted Magique to handle Sylveon.
2 flower tricks prove enough to beat Sylveon...and today's episode.
I guess the big number 10 is gonna be the league, and the endgame if I'm lucky.
Episode 7:
https://pokemon.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003876031
So I made this poll...
https://pokemon.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003876204
to
Turns out I need train a bit since my next target is the infamous vgc duo...of Dondozo and tatsugiri.
Speaking of vgc...
...this is why follow me Magmar was seen as a threat. (Take a guess as to why coal was burnt)
Oh look, it's one of the strongest vgc mons ever. Will it ever go away? Probably not.
Anywho, after a bit of grinding, we head to dondozo island to look for the titan ... And maybe grind some more.
Apparently a wild Mon mementoing gives exp. Still doesn't justify why it's even an option for mons to do that...poor shiny hunters?
Anywho, enough stalling.
Dozo time.
Becuz Magique...trained so much his flower trick easily defeats Dondozo, so to maybe gain more of a challenge I use Nini against dozo phase 2.
3 electro balls do the job (the 3rd one was because it lived on 1hp).
This time, I have Nini volt switch into Magique because he can't do anything. Magique defeats another titan again with play rough. (Klawf, Great Tusk, dozo and tatsugiri...that's 3 titans felled!)
I remember a while back that some people spedrun path of legends with only meowscarada. Hmm
...
(Magique is also my most powerful member, he should be able to handle the last arven battle... hopefully.)
I wonder why so many Pokemon parents fall under this category. Hopefully in Z-A or gen 10 we finally get a subversion of this trope...since peony's apparently still to date the only time it happened.
I forgot to swap Magique in as the lead but Nini easily trounces greedent, only taking 1 body slam before electrocuting it.
Wenlock battles garg but goes down, though he set up rocks, so I had coal spin them off before Garg falls to thei EQ.
Now this time I swap Magique in on toedscruel as 2 flower tricks takes it out, but he traded a sludge bomb in the process.
Nini overcomes the odds with the power of friendship and trounces Scovillain with 2 acrobatics, and Miga takes care of cloyster.
I know Mabostiff has intimidate, so I use coal to sponge it.
Plus they have a honking huge attack stat anyway, so surely this isn't that bad.
Unfortunately, coal barely chipped Mabostiff with eq becuz of intimidate and gets defeated by crunch. Sukki is then sacked off while she attempted to go for d gleam...and Miga saves the day with a Close combat. "Reliable partner" indeed!
Managed to use climb to avoid that long, long, painful swimming trek to Alfornada. Miga and Coal can't help here becuz I'm not sure how well they can handle mental attacks.
SV2, pls like make it so I have to deal with psychic terrain if I'm here.
I was using wenlock for a bit to cheer him up over his poor performance against Arven. His iron head easily fells her lycanroc lead.
(Also funny interaction: Wenlock can eat sand attack with his ability. I didn't know that.
)
Coal easily dispatches pawmot and Sukki...falls short of one shotting Sliggoo with d gleam, needing 2 to win.
Nini initially had the upper hand against quaquaval by out speed the duck, but an aqua jet beats him. Sukki also falls because, unsurprisingly, she can't outrun a +1(2?) speed quaquaval, with Miga needing to save the day again.
While picking my Mon for the esp, I nearly picked coal for the funsies, but decided on Nini instead because I'm not sure if it's ok to use coal...until I remember coal fought 2 trainers and no consequences happened to them so...(Ended up going with Sukki in the end).
Yay, I'm Blending right in!
The first gym trainer nearly ended in disaster as I used lumina crash to weaken a gothorita, but triggered competitive. Luckily it only went for 2 status moves so Sukki could use her shadow ball to end both it and the kirlia that came out next.
The 2nd gym trainers grumpig had rest, but lumina crashes stat debuffs saved Sukki.
Sukki then dispatches medicham with one tera boosted lumina crash, and needed 2 to defeat indeedee female. Maybe she can solo Tulips entire team?
First Sukki goes for dazzling gleam on farigiraf, but it tanks it and sets up a reflect, so a lumina crash is added before another d gleam defeats the giraffe.
Sukki unfortunately gets a nasty -1 sp def on this while unloading her -2 def inducing lumina crash and barely lives, so wenlock has to take out the incoming Gardevoir instead.
Wenlock then easily defeats florges. I think he could maybe beat grusha, but with the snow buff and his physical build, I'm not sure.
Just realized poppy's hair here has a x that suspiciously looks like Drifloon lines x.... probably reading too much into it.
Anywho, I think next time, my team, which is now fixed with no more rotations, will end team stars troublemaking and maybe head to the elite 4.
They took down mons way out of their league level wise, surely they can handle the ends of 2 more paths, right?

Episode 7:
https://pokemon.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003875871
Evidently, chanseys special defense still got it.
Also at this point I decided maybe I should maybe further cut back on catching Paldean mons, since I already have an arsenal of them...I'll try bringing them out from time to time while I catch new ones, becuz why not. Today I'm gonna attempt to get annihilape, since 2 previous playthroughs I had a cross gen Evo (a nuzlocke had both farigiraf and Dudunsparce and clodsire was on my 1st ever playthrough team),let's keep it going.
Oh and congratulations to Miga for getting this ribbon. He's been used for so much apparently, like he may as well be my ace.
Halfway there..
I also caught one of vinicius many, many foes he fought to unlock rage fist.
I used the name beibei because, well the only whale Olympic mascot is Miga, who I already used as a name so I had to settle for something else. (Now if only paldeas mons had a bear and goat like Mon)...
Back to vinicius the primeape...I think I've lost count of how many times I used rage fist, as he's not evolving yet...
Spoke too soon. Anywho I'm not sure if I'm using him for ryme.
Yay, grinding other members will be easier now.
I decide to lead vinicius and Magique. Despite vinicius being weaker she easily clears the first stage with magiques help.
This time, vinicius actually gets hit by something and rage fist kos the Mon responsible, which is haunter.
What type of prankster nonsense is this gonna have? (Apparently none, drifblim is popped by Magique and vinicius manages to dent sableye a lot for Magique to finish it off).
Anywho, Sukki just learnt dazzling gleam. Time to test it against Ryme. I decide I'll lead Magique and Sukki.
They'll never see my u turn chip coming... except Sukki tanks a sucker punch + shadow sneak before U-Turn. What?
I swap into Nini as the crowd gives ryme an accuracy boost.
Knowing Sukkis gonna go down soon, I have her baby doll eyes banette while Nini teras and electrocutes mimikyu...who defeats Sukki anyway though baby doll eyes does go through.
Miga comes in to soak an omniboost and this time ryme doesn't go for priority as mimikyu and banette fall, for which the stage.
After some deliberation, I decide to take out rymes tera Toxtricity first before houndstone, doubling up electricity into it. Surprisingly, Toxtricity gets defeated by 1 electro ball and houndstone gets defeated by 1 wild charge.
Good riddance, arm thrust!
Hmm...now speaking of fighting types...
Great Tusk phase 1: Gone!
Phase 2 at least up a better fight, with 2 flower tricks being needed to take it down.
Ofc I catch it, and named them (becuz genderless) Coal.
I know coals a bear, but there's no elephant mascot to use ATM.
I think this is a good stopping point. I guess either dozo, Ortega and tulip are next. If you've made it this far, please let me know who I should fight first of these 3.
For a guy named after Poliwag, I sure don't like it as much anymore. I don't want to rebrand though.
During my Pokemon Scarlet Crabrawler only challenge I noticed a huge size difference between Crabrawler and Great Tusk. Great Tusk was very easy too. The first phase took one hit and the second took two hits.
We were told to make it a post instead of a poll. So we are.
Personally, we want Sandy Shocks because it's our favorite paradox Pokemon.
Yay
I’ll show them in order of when i got them
First i got Brute Bonnet full odds by running around for hours straight. I got lucky and it was the first shiny i found
Then i got a shiny Flutter Mane while i waited 50000 years for my friend to come over by running around in that water puddle thing in the Roaring Moon cave cause it basically only spawns Flutter Mane at night.
Then i got actually the fastest shiny ever with Sandy Shocks. I literally landed in that area and it was one of the first three that spawned. This one wasn’t full odds though.
I also got a shiny Magnemite after
Then i got Slither Wing, as well as a Lokix and a Venomoth. If i remember right, this one took 2 sandwiches. Also got a shiny Rellor after.
Next i got Scream Tail. This one was a bit stupid with how long it took, everywhere i looked i saw about 10 Scream Tail, yet it took like 25 minutes for the shiny :/
Then, the only one i failed a shiny of, Great Tusk. It spawned as much as Scream Tail did, except it wasn’t stupid. I turned around and one despawned about 2 minutes in, and 2 minutes later i found another one. I went and got myself a Flamigo and a Heracross after.
And then Roaring Moon. This one was RIDICULOUS. I ended up getting 2 FULL ODDS shiny Greavard before i got it. I also got 6 Zweilous, and a Gabite. Fandom actually ended up making me keep the first Greavard which was a HUGE mistake, cause now i have 2 :/
I also got to keep a Zweilous, because i went there after i got a shiny Cyclizar, and obviously wasn’t gonna reset cause i already got my target. Anyways, here’s Roaring Moon
E
My friend and i traded and they gave me Great Tusk and Brute Bonnet, Great Tusk being level 57 i think and Brute Bonnet level 59
I can only control pokemon of up to level 50, and Great Tusk has obeyed me twice, and Brute Bonnet obeys me almost every time
Does Brute Bonnet like me more or something???
So I've been playing Pokemon Scarlet and I caught some high level Pokemon but they don't do the attacks I want them to do. I heard this is because this is coz they're too high level but I don't want to change my Pokemon because I earned them. How can I fix this?
Btw my team is Level 36 Skeldigre, the wierd elephant thing at level 36, some peacock I found in the dessert at 36 also, A level 40 hippowdon I think it's called, a level 45 cyclizar and a level 55 Great Tusk
So 6 days ago, I decided to draw all the past paradox pokemon for the 27th birthday of the franchise! Sadly my drawing app is having some issues, and it crashing like 5 times every day while I'm trying to draw. So happy late birthday Pokemon!
Clip Studio Paint crashed twice while I was doing this. I am going to scream.
The fact that Great Tusk, Orthworm and Klawf are small and are titans made me somewhat disappointed in them
