I would like to apologise for my lack of activity

I have been very busy these last few weeks with school assignments and stuff.

But

I will try to be more active again 👍

Last round:

• Contestants had to create an alternate version of an ultra beast of their choice, changing their types

• The winner last round was @JustAnotherBeing4 for their Steel/Electric type Blacephalon

• The eliminated contestant is currently undecided, as it is a tie. I will go around asking for some more votes on the poll and if that doesn't work I will make a tie breaker.

• @Mimikyu006 was also eliminated, unable to meet the deadline.

This round

In the spirit of Pokemon Go adding Gigantamax Pokemon and galar, contestants must take a Gigantamax Pokemon's type and completely change it. For example, gmax Centiskortch becoming an ice type.

Rules

• Rounds last 1-2 weeks. Failure to submit before the deadline results in an elimination

• Each round will have a vote - 3 for the 3 groups, 1 for the elimination poll, and 1 for the winners poll.

• If you have the least amount of votes in the group polls, you will be put into the elimination poll. If you have the least votes in this poll, you will be eliminated. Basically, the most votes win.

• Contestants are not allowed to vote for any artwork in the poll. They must vote for the 'Contestants Only' button, a similar case to me.

• No NSFW or too triggering artwork

• No plagiarism

• Please do not edit existing images - it should be drawn from scratch, however references are allowed.

• Please stay civil

• Feedback is allowed, but please keep it constructive and keep others in mind.

• Please do not flood the round posts. It makes it more difficult than it needs to be.

All pokemon (who have gmax forms) have to be fully evolved to gigantamax.

All but 4, and one was an accident.

There are 3 iconic pokemon who needed them, Pikachu (surprise), Eevee (i see why), and Meowth (it deserves this privilege) but the last one is a bit... less iconic.

Duraludon was given a gmax form, which was cool. it seemed stong enough to be a non-evolving pokemon, but then came archaludon. making duraludon the 4th unevolved pokemon capable of gmax.

3 cute, cuddly, iconic and loved pokemon and a final... less cuddly one.

Thought it'd be cool to point that out.

Why did gamefreak do this? They made a split evolution line for applin and in flapple and appletuns gmax form, you cant tell them apart! What’s even crazier is they did it again with toxtricity! Like why did they do this it makes zero sense!

I need a body shape for my compound pokemon (that is what it shall be referred to, names shall come after)

I started and made 5 different designs then i realised that the toxtricity gmax tower thing (suggested by @Gettingcancelled123) was not intended to be a body shape but rather an actual body part.

Oops.

So if you do have any body shape suggestions then can you put them in the reply section. I will (very quickly) experiment with them and try to find a good shape

The toxtricity gmax tower thing coincidentally worked as a body shape so maybe i will stick with it!

If you can’t really see your suggestion in here, it will be clearer in the final version since I have checked over and over again that all the suggestions are in it

It genuinely grosses me out thinking about its shell… like the way it’s separated makes me wonder if it has nerves in its shell and how uncomfortable it would be… it’s also might just be a trypophobia thing or smth idk, it just gives me goosebumps looking at its shell…

This was today’s winner, so here is its artwork! Tomorrow I will be focusing on some more Kanto Pokémon!

Galvantula now flies around using its electroweb cloud, striking down and consuming whatever it comes across.

Inspirations:

- Ballooning, a technique used by many spiders that allow them to float through the air using a string of their web. Air currents and electric fields allow the spider to glide through the air.

- Thunderclouds

- Kumonga, a giant spider Kaiju who appears in many Godzilla films.

Here’s my submission for the new years themed Pokémon art competition! Since me and @Crazy Keirra were up against each other and had to do a piece of art on one of ash’s rivals or companions, I decided to do Leon and his gigantamax charizard vs Ash and his gigantamax pikachu!
