I have completed victory road.

Thank you all for your suggestions on how to defeat the elite four, i would not have got past poppy without these suggestions, lets be real.

Geeta was fairly easy. i rematched her 3 times before i managed to defeat her. when i did, i did it with 4 pokemon remaining! (she ko'd my medicham and hatterene)

My team was the same for hassel except:

Skeledirge: expert belt

Tackle

Torch song

Flamethrower

Fire blast

Yeah so she was quite easy and i had my fair share of ohko's

Nemona was easy too

Same team

Need suggestions to counter geeta's team; held items, moves, pokemon etc.

So day before yesterday i defeated poppy and today i defeated both larry and hassel on my first try!

Here are my teams:

My strategy:

My only strategy was to:

1. Make hatterene use trick and give the opponent the floaat stone, effectively making the target lighter

2. Switch out for cetitan

3. Use Heavy Slam, which deals increased damage due to the weight difference

(I also made minior use stealth rock if this counts as a strategy)

I didnt end up using it for larry, i saw no need since i already defeated him

Nothing quite to this battle, really.

They were both quite easy, and i defeated larry with 2 pokemon to spare (meowscarada and minior) but hassel... was a different story

I used the same team but i switched out minior for my: (mystery gift) Gyarados, which held nothing:

Ice Fang

And medicham for:

Dragon Darts

Dragon Breath

Hassel was fairly easy till baxcalibur. i had 3 pokemon left: meowscarada, sandshrew and dragapult

Sandshrew got ohko'd without being able to attack

and meowscarada got one-shot too

Dragapult used dragon pulse and brought baxcalibur down to over half hp, and he used glaive rush, which didnt ko my dragapult, but forced me to use a revive for hatterene with her fairy moves for backup in case i do faint.

Oh boy, did i need backup.

Glaive rush ENDED my dragapult

And i sent out hatterene, who followed in dragapult's footsteps by fainting from glaive rush, but not before i used a revive on dragapult.

Dragapult used dragon breath, and that may have been the most stressful time i have ever been in.

If this left baxcalibur with even 1hp, i would be out, and have to redo rika, poppy and larry. i dont know if i could defeat poppy again, i got through to larry via dumb luck

But thankfully, dragapult did it. i mean, its my favourite pokemon because its cool and can breathe very heavily.

Also, thank you @Candelinot , because you suggested to get rid of my revavroom, i did. i defeated 3 of the elite four without it lol. it was just a waste of space tbh

but i am so happy that i managed to do it. tmw or the day after i will challenge geeta. if you have any suggestions, i would be so happy. thx for reading!

What if there was like some fancy lounge place or smthn where the pokemon champions just relaxed when they werent doing champion stuff? Like, Geeta could be showing Steven a Tera shard and Steven would be like, What a fascinating stone, or smthn. Cynthia could be playing piano in the background. Diantha would be peacefully drinking tea, and Leon would be doing that one pose he always does in the middle of the room even tho nobody would care, and Kukui would be flexing and showing off his buff gigachad-like chest or smthn and Iris would be like HOW DID U GET SO RIPPED?!

So after all my playthroughs of Pokemon Violet, I always beat Geeta EASILY.

I mean, she is such a pushover, it's unreal! So here's how I thought to fix her, to make her better.

First and foremost, swap when Kingambit and Glimmora come out. I know, her ace is supposed to be Glimmora, and some people say her hair is meant to look like one, but I have several problems with this. One, her hair looks more like Kingambit anyways. And two, both of their abilities would work better this way!!

Second, give her at least a Ghimighoul. "Oh but Squid, wouldn't that make her too OP?" No, it wouldn't. She's a champion, give her some good mons!! And besides, with her power, I'm sure she could get one easily.

Third, and last, change her Tera type. Rock has so many weaknesses, Grass, Water, Fighting, Ground, to name a few. Make it something like Poison or Fairy, then you could change the moveset of her new ace Kingambit a bit.

Galar has the Galarian Star Tournament in the Sword and Shield DLC. I just wish Scarlet and Violet got something like that in their DLC (even if they have a League Club). If it’s real, then this would be called the Paldean Star Tournament and it has the following:

After today’s episode of Pokémon: Paldean Winds, we may found some clues about what the final episode will be. Naranja Academy students are try into to promote the school with a video presentation. They finally realize that they can involve the entire Paldea Region. That’s means we can finally see important characters like School Faculty, Geeta, Gym Leaders, and the Elite Four make anime appearances at last, but mostly those who yet to appear. Can’t wait for the finale.

If there are going to be special guests for maybe the BB League or something, hopefully it involves all of Paldea’s top trainers other than just gym leaders. Would like to hear more about people like Poppy on how she became the youngest Elite Four in history. Maybe they should try to make this gathering like the Galarian Star Tournament.

Ok, so I played Scarlet, and I would just like to say...Why did they make Geeta's team as it is????? I get the theme they were going for, but like...some of the pokemon they chose for it were bad choices. here's my attempt at fixing it. First, we must choose which ones are good.

Who to keep:

Glimmora: Glimmora is a good pokemon, good ability, a gen 9 original, but...the problem is that it wasn't used to the fullest. Geeta chose to use it as her last pokemon...WHEN IT IS A SETTER POKEMON. I feel this should stay...but we should at least change it's position

Kingambit: Kingambit is a good choice as well, why? it's ability is literally gaining strength it's fallen allies, which I feel makes it the perfect pokemon to be sent out last.

Espartha: this one is iffy, because while it does have good stats, but...it has QUICK ATTACK. Why in the name of Arceus would it have QUICK ATTACK??? maybe replace it for another move and it can stay

Who to dump:

Gogoat: It is not a Gen 9 original, and has terrible typing. It was one of the easiest pokemon to defeat on her team

Veluza: It's stats are mid. And I could name at least 3 other pokemon who can replace it. But it's a gen 9 original so I'll give game freak that.

Avalugg: Like Gogoat, it's not a Gen 9 original, and it's easy to beat.

Replacements:

Gogoat-Arboliva: Arboliva's ability is good, it can heal allies, and it's a gen 9 original, basically what Gogoat was trying to do but better

Veluza-Palafin: Palafin is ICONIC. No one else has one! But you wanna know who should have one? A Champion! And I know some people are going for Dondozo as a replacement, but I feel that it wouldn't be used to it's full ability, as it works best with a Tatsugiri partner.

Avalugg-Cetitan: Cetitan is like Avalugg, but Cetitan puts all those points into HP rather than it's attack and defense. And as I said before. Gen 9 original.

Other Pokemon good to put on the team:

Gholdengo: No one has a gholdengo! So It would be really interesting if Geeta has one, signifying she went out of her way to look for 999 GIMMIGHOUL COINS just to level up her pokemon. If you want this in your team I would recommend replacing Espartha with this, why? they share the most simularities.

Ceruledge/Armarouge: Armarouge and Ceruledge are Version Exclusives, and it would be really interesting to see Geeta own one, especially if she has one in the game you own! Armarouge in Scarlet and Ceruledge in Violet! and I feel the need to bring up cynthia, who has a Lucario, who in my vision, was her 2nd in command, Garchomp's right hand mon. And I feel that there is no other mon, or mons, better to have than these 2 be What Lucario is to Cynthia for Geeta.

Baxcalibur: A Gen 9 original, A Pseudo Legendary, AND A Dragon type? What is not to want this on your team? It's got good stats and can learn a variety of moves! A good pick if you wanna substitute this! Especially for Cetitan!

Team Line up:

1.Palafin: Use Flip Turn immediately

2.Glimmora: Ability is good setter

3. Espartha: Good to deal a bit of damage

4. Arboliva: Ability can heal

5.Cetitan: Can tank a few hits

6. Palafin: In Hero form, very scary for some players.

7. Kingambit: Final pokemon, maybe for it's tera type Dark or Rock? As Rock type is the only Tera type for the gyms we haven't seen. So I think it would be fine as Kingambit can learn some rock type moves.
