What to expect: I got a serpentine vibe going today, so all 3 Pokémon I'll be showing off will be following this theme!
I hope you all enjoy!
The literal burrito snake. Dunsparce gets way too much hate for being useless. Its really sad. Even back in 2nd gen, it was often called an unusable Pokémon. At the very least, one use I find is simply, Fun. Take a hit, hope your survive, Glare, then spam your moves that gain enormoys Flinch chance due to Serene Grace. Coupled with Paralysis, it leads the opponent in an infiriating loop. Especially if you predict a switch and catch another mon with Glare into the trap. Is it consistent? Heck no! But is it fun? Oh yes indeed! I like the little guy. He's definetely earned his time to shine, if ever so niche. Derpy ol' Dunsparce should get some love, maybe give him an evolution GameFreak!
Classic Contrary + Leaf Storm set for Serperior, but with a twist. LS is his only attack, as the rest is utility. Mirror Coat is helpful for getting out of sticky situations wher LS cant be spammed effectively. Glare is.... with 100 Accuracy, excellent. And Gastro Acid is a personal pick. Ive won games off of a clever negation of a foe's ability. Like Poison Heal, forcing a switch or a KO in my favor. Its definetly not the best set, but its my flavor of unusual and unpredictable.
Beauty and exotic. Milotic is these adjectives and more. Its viability is not particularly good due to its nature. But I plan on fixing that problem in SwSh with the Nature mints. Still, its one of the best Shiny mons in my opinion due to its pleasing color set. I cant wait for my Switch to come in, so I can move her to 8th gen. (Improved polyogons, wee!) Now that I was convinced to shiny hunt/breed there may be more of these comming!
