Zane: Double-Edge.
Dylan: Use Megahorn.
With sharpened, stag-like horns, the Bouffalant counters Double-Edge.
Zane: Use Wild Charge, go round and round.
Running around, and crackling with electricity, Tauros goes faster and faster.
Zane: Hit.
Tauros stops, and hits Bouffalant, knocking it away.
Dylan: Head Charge.
Using it's head, Bouffalant smashes into Tauros, blowing it away. Bouffalant is knocked back as well.
Dylan: Ability Reckless, boosts recoil moves power.
Zane: Use Flame Charge, round and round.
Circling, Tauros runs.
Dylan: Wait for the hit and use Revenge.
Tauros is now leaving a trail of fire. Making a circle around Bouffalant like Fire Spin.
Zane: Hit.
Tauros hits, burning Bouffalant.
Dylan: Revenge.
With glowing horns, Bouffalant hits Tauros.
Zane: Iron Head.
The top of Tauros' head hardens into steel. It charges.
Dylan: Skull Bash.
Bouffalant tucks in his head. It takes the force of Iron Head. Then it knocks Tauros away with a Critical Hit. It takes damage from the circle of fire.
Tauros glows, it's Anger Point kicking in because it took a Critical Hit.
Zane: Use Double-Edge.
Dylan: Use Head Charge.
The force blows both Pokemon back, and they both take lots of recoil.
Zane: Wild Charge.
Dylan: Revenge.
The force blows Bouffalant back. Because of the burn, it's attack is weaker. Then Bouffalant is hurt by the fire.
Zane: Use Iron Head.
Dylan: Skull Bash.
Despite having it's head tucked in and defense raised, the Anger Point boosts the attack, and Bouffalant flinches.
Zane: Now, Rock Climb.
The force is able to knock Bouffalant off it's feet. It gets up.
Dylan: Endeavor.
Tauros is lowered to Bouffalant's extremely low health.
Zane: Use Wild Charge.
Dylan: Use Head Smash.
Both Recoil Moves do damage to both attackers.
Zane: Finish with Horn Attack.
Dylan: Use Revenge.
The moves hit. Tauros' is stronger because of STAB, and the fact that Horn Attack does more damage, and the burn.
Bouffalant faints of fire.
Tauros Level 28. Facade for Horn Attack. Zen Headbutt for Flame Charge.
As they continue, they see a large door in the middle of a house directly in their way.
Jessie: Should one of us have our Pokemon use Cut? There are trees blocking the sides.
Zane: Wait, the door has a sign.
The Sign has a setting Sun.
Zane: Team Sunset. I'm going in.
Reluctantly, the others go in. They see a trapdoor on the floor of the entrance. It is an entrance to a ladder that leads into a large room. People are there, tracking signals and doing research. Zane notices that they have a few Mythical Pokemon, like Genesect and Shaymin.
Jake: Looks like they got somewhere.
Just then, James comes out.
Jessie: You!
James: Hello, Jessie. I see you have come to see what we have accomplished.
Jessie: I don't care what you achieve, you shouldn't have these Pokemon.
James: If you don't want to admire my achievements, then you and your friends will be driven out. I challenge you to a double battle.
James pointed at Zane.
James: You were good last time we battled. Let's see if you can beat my new Pokemon.
They followed James into a battlefield.
Zane: Tauros.
Jessie: Togekiss.
James: Skuntank and Silvally.
Zane: Use Facade.
Glowing yellow, Tauros quickly blitzed Silvally.
James gave Silvally a Fire Memory.
James: Use Multi Attack.
Glowing with a fiery aura, Silvally hit Tauros.
Jessie: Use Aerial Ace.
James: Sucker Punch.
Closing in, Skuntank runs right into and hits Togekiss. Togekiss takes damage, but does damage with Aerial Ace.
Zane: Use Zen Headbutt.
With the Psychic Headbutt, Silvally is hit and it flinches.
James: Skuntank, slow down that Tauros with Clear Smog.
The clear poison poisons Tauros.
Jessie: Aerial Dash.
The move was like Acrobatics, but Flying. Togekiss did tricks in the air, flying through and back, twirling quickly while hitting the Skuntank 3 times, 25 damage each hit.
Zane: Facade.
The boosted Facade hits hard. It knocks back Skuntank.
Silvally runs into Tauros, with its head-top glowing and its tail. It hits Tauros twice Super-effectively, 35 damage each.
James: Sludge.
The move hits Super effectively.
Jessie: Use Aerial Ace.
Zane: Use Wild Charge.
James: Use Tackle.
The hit doesn't do much damage, with Tauros being covered in electricity. Tauros then knocks Skuntank back. Skuntank is blown into Silvally.
Tauros is hurt by poison.
Then Togekiss hits the two with a speedy Aerial Ace. Skuntank faints.
Jessie: Use Ancient Power.
The glistening stone hits Silvally super-effectively.
James: Use Air Cutter.
The sharp blades air cross and hit Togekiss, knocking it out.
Zane: Facade.
James: Multi-Attack.
The force blows both Pokemon back, but Tauros' move is stronger, and Silvally faints.
Tauros levels up to level 29. Breloom level 30. Seed Bomb for Grass Knot. Pikachu level 32. Starmie level 34. Venusaur still level 37.
James: Fine. Stay. But don't touch anything.
Jessie: Weird that he'd let us stay.
Zane went into a room. He saw people tracking Articuno.
Zane: How do you know where it is?
Worker: We didn't catch it, but we put a tracker on it.
In another room, they had a Pokemon Zane hadn't heard of. Mew. A Psychic type that could apparently learn every move.
It was in another country currently. They were others, too.
Jake: So they did get somewhere.
Then Zane saw a Pokemon Center. He and his friends healed up and they went into a gold-encrusted door.
A man in a chair was there, there were screens around him. A Rillaboom was playing a drum solo. He had a Glaceon on his lap.
Man: You three.
Zane: Who are you?
Man: George. Leader of Team Sunset. I know you are strong and annoying. Especially Jessie.
Zane: Why?
George: She is a strong trainer. Just not strong enough. The fact that she left is even worse.
Zane: You seem to have leads on many Pokemon. Even some that you successfully caught.
George: Yes. And we would also have Articuno if you didn't beat James.
Zane: Well, what do you plan on doing now?
George: Having you out. You've seen enough.
George snapped his fingers. The ground underneath them opened and the fell into a couch. It was on a conveyor. They were pulled to a wall, then the couch rose up. The ground was a trap door as well. They were pushed back into the Route. The door to the house is locked. The trapdoor slides closed. They all get off.
Jake: That was a quick visit.
Zane: Jessie, know any more about George?
Jessie: He's smart and tricky. He almost never really means what he says. And he only appears a few times. He likes his workers doing most of the work. He's the planner. The Guy in the chair and the Mastermind. Without him, we won't have done anything. That was one of the bases.
Jake: Well, let's go to Earth City. The Ground Gym is there.
Zane: I call battling it first.
The Journey Continues...
