Ash's Pidgeot

I knew that Pidgeotto, the one that Ash Ketchum has on hand, has not appeared in Mewtwo Strikes Back/Evolution. Now I wonder why you think?

I knew that Pidgeot has rejoined Ash's rotation as in the end of his anime TV episode, The Rainbow and the Pokémon Master!. However, Pidgeot has missed the Top 30 on the most popular Kanto regional Pokémon list during the Pokémon of the Year 2020 event, so do you think that Ash's Pidgeot, will make its own physical appearance as in his post-retirement main continuity anime movie?

Throughout the Pokémon anime history, Ash's Pidgeot had appeared in 38 Pokémon anime sightings, including 34 of them as originally mainly unevolved Pidgeotto, plus 5 of them as fully-evolved Pidgeot. However, unfortunately, it had not physically appeared in any of the anime movies based on Pokémon the Series: The Beginning. So do you think that Ash's Pidgeot's 38 anime sightings total had made it popular with fans or not? Why? Please let me know, thanks.😉
