Ash Ketchum/XY and XYZ

So this is how I would put my own take on it.

Its set during the Sun and moon series and Ash and his mom would win a trip to Alola and then Ash would fall off the boat and wash up onto Alola with his memory gone.

The series would still play out the same like with ash winning and stuff but with a few differences. Like Ash not remembering a lot of stuff from his past.

But in the end I could see ash remembering his complete past and stuff. And winning the Pokémon Alola League. And Ect.

During the Team Flare final battle arc from the XY series of the Pokémon main anime, what if Team Flare Mastermind Lysandre had managed to defeat Ash's Pikachu Greninja (including in its Ash-Greninja bond phenomenon) during the final battle against Team Flare, just like he did to Talonflame, Hawlucha, Goodra and Noivern?
