Decided to try my hands at an idea as practice. That's it. And TW I guess for dehydration and manipulation
He could only wander around wherever he was, if he knew this place that was.
Unrelenting heat toasted his ice-blue body. The quadrupedal stance he took felt foreign, each step hard to bring. Water. He needed water.
With a long neck, it made the search easier, yet everything he saw was the same barren wasteland. His vision began to fail on him as he continued, struggling with this body until he fell.
Water. He begged for it.
His eyes blinked, and blinked, and blinked. Until they shut.

A splash of water brought him up. He stood on all fours, looking for the source. A... small place? It looked like a home, judging by the nest, window, and filled place, but it didn't make sense.
"Down here."
He tilted his head down to find a cream-colored monkey with blue on its head. "Hello." They said, voice boringly happy.
It took a while for him to speak back, "Hello too."
He returned to observing the place while the monkey spoke.
"What's your name, by the way?" They asked.
"...Gunner." That was one of few things he could recall. He noticed paper cluttered on the desk.
"Nice to meet you, Gunner. I'm Dripple. Were you lost?"
Gunner looked back at the monkey. "No." He said, thinking more, confused. "...Yes. Maybe?"
Dripple let out a light laugh. "Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you're safe."
'You're supposed to be my partner but you were nowhere-'
He laid down on his nest.
'-At least that's solved now, right, Gunner?'
Gunner nodded.
"Not social, huh?"
He shook his head.
"Well, that's fine. Let's get some rest, buddy. We'll need to work hard here. I'll help jog your memory."
The Panpour rolled to his side, hearing Gunner curl up to sleep.
Snoring emit from the Amaura as the Panpour only saw poké signs. This Pokemon would be his key to success. He was fortunate to find an Amaura in the middle of nowhere, no less, one at all.
Whoever this Pokemon, was it didn't matter as long as the pair'd make money. They would be living happily off it, or at least Dripple would. His friends would love to meet this character.

Judging by how tiny its legs are and how its head is big, when it would lean over its head to the side it would have collapsed
In short: Amaura`s life is a pain when trying to balance itself
