To use empathy, understanding, and reason to convince a person (usually a villain) to reflect on their actions and change their ways.

So is anyone going to talk about who they chose and why? No? Ok....this is anti-climactic.

I'd say Rose would be the easiest. Explaining why his plan is brain dead would beating a dead horse. But I'd just tell him that:

1. There is an electric type Regi that can power all of Galar in the Crown Tundra and that his brother in looking for it.

2. It's not worth putting people in danger over something that'll happen a thousand years later. Even then, at the very least evacuate all of Galar before you start Armageddon!!!

It could be Rose, but I think if Lysandre had someone to talk to about all of his troubles rather than just building up his hatred towards humanity over the years then maybe things could've been different, even Sycamore said he regrets brushing it all off rather than actually listening to him and taking him seriously.

I believe Maxie and Archie do see reason after their plan fails, at least I know they do in Emerald, so I choose them
