Small amounts of bread (preferably seed and grain heavy breads) aren't terrible for pigeons. Over feeding can lead to deficiencies as, especially white, bread isn't high in the nutrition birds need.
Not off topic we are discussing the feeding of a favorite regional bird. The OP didn't specify it had to be a pokemon. And honestly I think if has to do with the well being of animal only another animal would say it's wrong.
