Background: Helios can communicate with pokemon and people alike and often translates for its nonverbal partner. it’s hard to tell if it is sentient or just an advanced robot, but it has a sarcastic, chilly way of speaking and interacting with others. it’s known to be very frightening when upset. it was captured in Area Zero and has belonged to the circus ever since.

Are you a performer or audience member?: performer; it always performs with its partner, Poffin, in a duo act. they showcase a mock battle of the past and future where they focus on using dazzling moves instead of actually fighting each other.

Background: Poffin is a bit of a dunce and relies on Helios for a lot of things, so the two are pretty joint-at-the-hip. he is friendlier, though, and enjoys meeting some of the younger audience after shows to let them pet his fluffy fur. he’s really just a gentle giant, and quite a sensitive one. he was captured in Area Zero shortly after Helios and has belonged to the circus ever since.

Personality:

-Gap Moe. Presents herself as cold, distant, and blunt, but it's a mask to hide her loneliness from the world. She really appreciates any company she gets, even if she finds the personalities she's around unpleasant. There's some truth to her front, though.

-Introverted, but not shy.

-Has a love for all things cute, is a member of multiple Pokémon Fan Clubs (though you'd never be able to get that out of their mouth)

-Alcoholic (surprisingly, she isn't really a fan of black velvet)

-Is probably also a smoker too

-Does okay with kids.

-Is content with making friends with people they don't like if it benefits them

-Usually low energy due to being perpetually tired

Background:

Velvet was a top student in her class, scoring straight A's on every test and even skipping a few years. Her career as a detective started out wonderfully; They were receiving and solving cases left and right and over time, she started to become a rising prodigy in the field. However, with more and more eyes on her, Velvet felt herself pressured to keep on taking more and bigger cases. Stress and tiredness piled up, but she pushed herself through it because Velvet felt that she'd be letting so many people down if she failed even once.

...after it happened, Velvet fell apart emotionally. The horror, the heartbreak, the sorrow of what had happened on that terrible day sent them into a massive slump lasting even to now, though she has at least returned to her detective work, albeit at a slower pace than the glory days. With the circus setting up nearby, Velvet has entered the audience of the circus seeking a small reprieve from the tragedy of life, though she will soon find out that she has yet another investigation to unfold.

Cheerful and peppy, she was named for her warm personality, and her fondness of the sun. She can communicate with Pokemon just fine, but her communication with humans is very limited to gestures and sounds

Appearance: A Porygon-Z with gold where the red should be, and silver where the blue should be. It has patterns resembling a motherboard on its robotic body

Background: A "freak" Porygon-Z, who's really just a robot. Alloy can communicate well with both humans and Pokemon alike, using its database of several languages to both speak and understand different Pokemon languages and English. Its true desire is to add more knowledge to its database, wanting more data than any computer. Personality-wise, it's known to be snarky, prone to slacking, and a show-off, but it buries a very human sense of empathy and love beneath its caustic exterior
