Gary Oak's Cheerleaders back in the original Pokemon Series because they always follow him around travelling in the sport car while cheering for him like in "Battle of the Badge" for example. After Gary lost in the first Pokémon League his Cheerleaders were never seen again until the Johto League when they return but after losing to Ash that his Cheerleaders were never seem again or heard from again.

Appletun, despite being minor characters most of the time

Probably Serena, she had a really good character arc and was really well written, as well as just being a likable character.

Lysandre would be my other pick, the anime really did him justice.
