In the Johto region, Slowpoke tails are illegal. Meanwhile in Galar you can just buy Slowpoke tails whenever you want for fairly cheap and use them in curry. I'm questioning whether or not the creators remembered the illegal slowpoke tail business when they made it a curry ingredient lol. That or Johto and Galar have very different laws lol.
