Ladies and gentlemen, as you know, the Pokemon Wiki and the OtherLands Wiki are partners. Well, I say it's about time to capitalize on this and start up an art contest that both wikis can participate in. Here are the rules:
1. No plagiarism of any kind. You will be disqualified immediately upon being found out.
2. Up to eight artists from either wiki can participate. If eight artists do not apply within the timeframe of one week, the game will start without those other participants.
3. No backing out (within reason). Once you sign up, you're stuck there until the contest is over. I'd like to make sure that the contestants are ready for make a great impression. If there are other, more important factors at play, then you can drop out.
4. Characters and Pokemon from both the main franchise and the OtherLands are to be featured. This is mandatory, so remember that.
5. It must be family friendly. Nothing untoward or anything like that. These are family wikis.
6. No politics. Keep it about Pokémon, understand? Sorry I forgot to include this earlier.
The object of the game is simple. What you'll be tasked with drawing the Kanto and Romula Starter Pokemon with their trainers, Red, Blue, Green, Mikey, Donna and Emilia posing for a photograph together. Alternatively, you can just do the Kanto and Romula Starters if you find it easier, though the former is more preferred. Each artist will create one piece of artwork, and that art will be going through three rounds. The winner will have their artwork showcased on the main pages of both wikis, with the OtherLands making it a permanent fixture. Me and the admins of this wiki will be updating this as artists apply.
