Personally, I loved Gen 5 but I can see why some would think that it isn't very good.

I actually think Generation 8 is better than 7 (gameplay wise not story wise) and Generation 9 is better than Generation 8 (both gameplay wise and story wise). Only downsides are the bugs and frame rate and dexit.

Never. I'm a diehard fan and I don't think I will ever stop liking it.

I still like the series, but going straight from my all time favourite video game (Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon) to Sword/Shield was a huge downgrade IMO.

I like Scarlet/Violet a little more but I can't help but wish that it was a more functional video game. Here's hoping that Legends Z-A will be amazing.

My interest spiked in Gen 7 and hasn't faltered since.

There was two falls: one after the "Classic age", when generation IV came out, then gen VI made the franchise great again and started the "Golden age", but the switch games messed up everything again, despite there are still a lot of good pokemon.

Hasn’t for me. But Gen 8 is the worst generation in my opinion. The only good game in that Gen is Legends Arceus.

I feel like each game nowadays have their strengths and weaknesses for example SV has trouble with performance at times (although I haven’t encountered performance issues until after it got worse with the dlc coming out)

But it has some of the best storytelling the franchise has ever seen.

Also I don’t know why people dislike the future paradoxes I myself like it, it helps add to the story as most of them are ruthless! Same goes for past tho
