Primarina is probably go-to gameplay wise, Its got good special-Bulk and attack, its signature move does more damage than the other two. Two decent spread moves move set isn't half bad for a playthrough either. Has less weaknesses than the others.

If incin had intimidate in gen 7 then I'd consider that as well.

My favourite of the three is Popplio.

Poppilo is best gameplay wise seeing as it walls basically everything in the game.

I really like all three (being one of the rare cases where all the starters are solid picks, along with Hoenn), but Popplio is better at beating the game.

Incineroar rn is arguably the best Pokémon you can use for double battles because of feint attack and parting shot or something idk plus the ability intimidate with its overall good stat distribution it usually goes first during trick room
