Wikigo Chapter 2-Preparation

Groove and MC started to explore more of the route, finding the greenery, seeing the novice trainers and fighting them. Groove with her newly captured Uplam defeated a lot of the bug type Edibug. MC thought of capturing a new Pokémon, but decided to go back later to catch it, with reviewing and evaluating the Pokémon there. Groove stated to MC,”Hey, if we really want to pursue the gym challenge, we have to go to Off Topic City and go to the stadium to see the gym leaders, and even the champion,InlandTaipan!”
Groove then caught Inaca, finding it cute and teased,”You can’t even find a Pokémon, you should hurry up!” MC seemed to not care trying to find out how they could successfully defeat IsleofPig, especially with Baply giving him trouble, they knew they needed to train his Pokémon, it was their destiny, they knew what to do.
MC walked upon a secret oasis, one with moss, looking abandoned, MC explored seeing Inaca sleeping but one Inaca getting bullied by people with a mysterious uniform with a T on it, they were seen kicking an Inaca, a generally weak Pokémon to the point where it’s not acceptable in battle, they realized it was Team Troll.
Team Troll was a notorious crime group, who not only said weird things, were a nuisance, but seemed to also be cult-ish, people saw them doing weird activity,worshiping what they call the hive mind, either known as God. They say there is a world above this one, a world called Earth, one where they call gods who watch their very actions, the hive mind was said to be out here, lurking in this world, controlled by the gods living on Earth, deciding the actions on what to do.
MC knew that these people were insane and fought him with his Baply. The grunts though, were reluctant to fight for some reason but decided to anyway and send out Tromander, Baply managed to pull through Tromander’s super effective attacks and defeat him with a Leafage. The Grunts looked shock and spoke to MC,” You’re powerful, kid, almost abnormally powerful, you pulled through a type weakness..”
The Grunts looking worried but kind of happy left the oasis, MC checked to see if the Inaca was okay but it managed to recover some health by sleeping. MC soon met back with Groove and told her what happened. Groove responded,” Huh, Team Troll, those insane jerks back at it with you, next time you get in trouble with them, you should tell me about it, I think I can handle them.” Groove giggled and then exclaimed,”We’re here, Off Topic City, the heart and soul of Wikigo!”
The change in scenery from the route and wildlife terrain, to a modern electric powered city, with restaurants, community, and stadiums far as the eye can see. People talking, billboards and hotels all there in one beautiful place. MC realized they forgot to catch another Pokémon and quickly went back into the wilderness and grassy terrain of that route to find a nearby three Pokémon.
