Swampert: Literally the best starter Pokémon line to exist and the fact that the anime made a horror episode focused on him is even better (the dub for the episode Abandon Ship is actually god tier).
Human Characters:
Paul: An out of left field choice, I know, but thinking about it… Paul kinda represents me in a way. Doing things without really thinking, not making the best decisions, a little competitive… whoever designed Paul for the anime knew what they were doing.
Dia: This should be obvious if you’ve read the Pokémon Adventures manga. Not only is Dia a gigachad of epic proportions (he survived literally being STABBED IN THE LUNGS by Giratina’s Shadow Force), but his positivity had an impact on even TEAM GALACTIC. Yes, Dia’s the reason Team Galactic disbanded in the manga, and you can thank him for it.
