Chapter 1
Professor Electrify gets on TV
Hello, trainers, welcome to the region of Wikigo, the most advanced region in history! I’m Professor Electrify, and as a Pokémon Researcher and part of the Pokémon Learning Project which inspires kids to interact with Pokémon, I will introduce them to the wonderful world of POKEMON!
The wind blows a fresh breeze that sailed away, as you woke up. You realized it was your first day, and your heart beat like a drum, as you bounced out of your bed and grabbed your backpack.Your room was like you always knew it and you wouldn’t see it for a long time, your Pokémon plushes, your Nintendo switch, and you ran and climbed down the wooden stairs.
Soon, you said bye to your mother, you knew going on this journey would be hard, full of challenges but you know you could always rely on her if you needed to. Your mom said,”Honey, go on to your adventure and don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything, just..stay safe.” You glanced around in your environment you’ve been living in for your whole life, the TV screen where you watched Pokémon battles on, the carpet rug that you relaxed on, and your mother who is proud of you, with a heart of steel, you left the room.
Soon, your childhood friend, Groove, greeted you outside of your house and stated,”Can you believe it, MC, it’s when we finally will get our Pokémon! Come on! Let’s go!” She grabbed her pom poms as you two ran to the professor’s lab, running over the wet grass, as your legs made you run like a madman,running through a dirt path with directions to Electrify’s lab and soon you made your destination. You saw how modern it looked, the technology was all around, you knew that a lot of Wikigo had a lot of Technological feats but not this much!
Professor Electrify spoke,” Hello, if I’m not mistaken, you’re Groove and MC.” Groove replied,”Yeah,we’re here to get our starter Pokémon, to be the very best like no one ever was!” Professor Electrify laughed and explained,” I like your energy, and yes, we do have three starters, Baply, Pingapus, and Uplam.”
Groove observed them in their pokeballs, calm and patient for a trainer to choose them, she asked,”So do I just randomly pick Or?” Professor Electrify answered,”No,only funky people do those stupid randomizers, let me send them out.”
Dopus,Baply and Pingapus appeared all excited and happy, wanting to be part of her team.
The MC observed them with a hawk’s eye knowing this was an important decision. Soon, the MC was in quite a quandary on what to pick, his eyes darted through the room, trying to avoid the pressure, but soon he looked more at Baply.
One that replicated MC before they met Groove, lonely, a template, someone who needed a friend, MC walked up to Baply and picked it. Electrify laughed and commented,” Wow, no one’s picked him ever since a blue moon!” Groove picked Baply and she was already getting along it, while you on the other side of the road noticed Baplu was a rather shy pokemon and you would have to guide it in the right direction
Electrify explained,” Now, before you two rush, as a pokemon trainer to become champion, you’ll have to travel the whole region to get gym badges, collecting all 8 of them will get you to the Champion, so I suggest you go to IsleofPig’s gym first, he’s a flying type gym leader, suggesting you to use your type advantages.”
Groove giggles and rubs her hair and replies,” Yeah, I kind of forgot my type chart…” She laughs and suddenly talks to you,”Anyways, come on, MC, let’s go, ready for a challenge, now we just have to go through some routes to destroy IsleofPig, his name almost sounds kind of like someone’s username on like a website, well, no matter!.” Electrify gives the dynamic duo pokeballs, a mechanism used to capture pokemon.
They soon blast off like a rocket going lightning speed to embark on a journey, a new frontier.
Electrify suddenly shuts down the lab, closing it, then states to Drip Goku.
“I saw them. The Hivemind.”
