I hate both options. Iris was annoying in the anime and Clare is just as bad as Whitney and whines when you beat them fair and square

Clair is a Dragon-type Gym Leader from the Johto Region. She’s known for having an competitive and prideful personality just like her cousin, Lance.

And yeah, she refuses to give you her Gym Badge when you beat her. Such a sore loser. 😂

Probably. By Clair’s design, she looks like a sweet, gentle, and elegant woman. But looks sure are deceiving.

No, Clair is WORSE than Whitney. Whitney gets so upset upon being beaten that she forgets to give you the Gym Badge until you remind her.

Clair, on the other hand, decides not to give you the Gym Badge purely out of spite, sends you into Dragon’s Den and has you take a quiz from the Dragon Master fully expecting you to fail. And she only gives up the gym badge after she wees her pants hearing her cousin mentioned.

Talk about pessimistic. 😂

Yeah, even anime Iris wasn’t this petty - all she ever did was call out Ash for making rash decisions.

That’s true. But I do love how beautiful she looks as a Dragon Queen.
