Why do Ash’s Bulbasaur and Squirtle never evolve, but his Charmander does? It doesn’t really make sense?

It's the Japanese Writer's fault because they're the ones who made these episode and decided which of Ash's Pokemon that should evolved rather than doing the rest of them.
