It's likely because the game or console is old or somehow busted. Not really sure of any sort of fix for that.

Did you tried reinsert the cargeged?

Like, did you put it in certain way and your data came back?

You know that happens with some GBA games I own..

I’ll try that. If it don’t work than idk what I’ll do. Either sell it or just put it back.oh wait it’s a normal cartridge not one of those cartridges like ruby and sapphire. It’s a Gold version I’ll put a picture but if it don’t matter I’ll definitely do that.

Ok so I can’t turn it. It most likely is somehow busted I found it in a drawer or however u spell it but I found it there and it was there for awhile. Noticed maybe 1-2 years ago and thought that’s cool. And then I started getting into Pokémon and so bought a game boy to play the old games and well grabbed it and put it in and played till the first gym and since I didn’t expect it to come so early I put it down to play Diamond. That’s when I noticed there was no save file that I had not to mention it belonged to my cousin so he prob would’ve had a save to. No save so I was surprised but eh I started playing again then it happened again. So prob just gonna put it back.
