I do agree Paul did things that was way overline and some people and Pokémon were hurt on the way. I still believe he learned at the end the error of his way. He did comfort his Electivire at the end of the match (What he normally never did) and in his talk with Ash after the match he Praised Infernape his Power (What he also rarely to never did) so yes i do think he redeemed himself in that moment. Is it 100%. I dont think that but it is going in a good direction and i think future episodes can show us more
