Platinum Pokedex problem

Hi. I’ve ran into a stumbling block while trying to complete the expanded Sinnoh Pokedex on Pokemon Platinum. (Apparently you need it to explore every part of Sinnoh.👎)

As I picked Turtwig as my starter, I can’t find Prinplup anywhere to add to my Pokedex. What I haven’t tried yet is the Battle Frontier, I hope if I battle there enough times I’ll see it to add to he dex.

Still, the only way to see it so far is in the Team Battle with Dawn at Veilstone City (Which has been and gone so quick I never got a chance to see it). I went cross-site and tried to find a trainer that had one. It shows that there is a Picknicker over at Eterna Forest that owns the water starter family, and that if you battle it multiple times, you’ll soon see it. But I can’t find that trainer either.

On Route 205, there is a pickiner

Use VS Seeker on her. She uses a Piplup.

She will have Prinplup too i think.

And.... she will have Empoleon too. I think u may want to use Vs Seeker many times to fight her empoleon. Her name is Karina btw.

Yeah i think you'll have to battle her multiple times to see the whole evolution line for what i am aware of so give it a try and level up your pokemon as well it'll help..

Try it before or after you battle some badges going to and from the Sunyshore City gym via last gym i know of keep training maybe you'll fill the dex you need to have as i help out Vs Seeker helps as well which i know it recharges as you walk so yeah give it a try and um g'luck?..

My Vs. Seeker is on, and I’m on Route 205. BTW I’ve beaten the E4 and Cynthia let alone got 8 Badges.

Edit: Got the seeker working for the first time. However I found Zachary instead! I’ll try the forest again.

No, you have to battle a female camper basically. Im sure it is with the female one.

Oh, I thought I found Karina for a moment but it’s Siena.

I must also mention you can’t use the seeker once you’re ‘inside’ the forest.

Right. Got Karina at last. I think I had to battle Siena beforehand.

And Prinplup is in my Pokedex! Thanks very much.
