Smilodons are found as fossils, so yeah, it could be a fossil Pokémon someday. As for the poll, they haven't done a Velociraptor yet after all these years and I'm angery. Closest thing to that is Arcto/Dracozolt, but we'll probably never know what the yellow guy used to look like.

The Velociraptor is my favourite dinosaur! Lately, I've actually been thinking about doing it as a pokemon, but I can't think of a good design :'D

There’s already a velociraptor though.

The “Zolt” fossils are based off the velociraptor, though we have never seen it complete, it basically translates to that in Japanese, therefore, we already do have a velociraptor fossil, so I go with spinosaurus.
